During his 27 years in the British military Special Forces, Billy worked a lot outdoors, especially in mountainous terrain. A job that meant that he had to be able to rely on his equipment in all situations.
Today, Billy still works a lot out in the elements; the forest and the mountains are his daily companions. For him, the most important thing is that his clothes are durable, practical and that they keep him warm and dry.
“The Silence Proshell Jacket is a must for outdoor activities. It’s super lightweight, water resistant, and a great breathable outer layer giving substantial protection from the elements; both wind and rain.”
“The Nordwand Trousers are one of my favourite pieces of RVRC clothing. They’re a little more roomy and offer great flexibility, which makes them incredibly comfortable, plus they’re able to withstand any rugged terrain.”
RevolutionRace offers several different jackets that work in different weather conditions for both the expert and the everyday hiker.
“This year I’ve spent some time in The Black Mountains in Wales. Having to adapt to the unpredictable weather was easy having an all-layered system of RVRC clothing, with garments like Tornado Fleece as a base layer, Cyclone Rescue Jacket as a waterproof shell layer, and RVRC GP Pro Trousers as a great pair of multifunctional trousers. These clothes saved the day while I was navigating the mountainous landscape. ”
